Importance of Voting in Indian Country, USA

By now Indian Country, USA knows that little or nothing will get done under this current presidential administration.  Plus, the president nominates key positions that directly impact all of Indian Country, USA. The president has put into place adverse executive orders, like oil pipelines which are opposed by Indian Country, USA. And the president has opened up National Parks for oil and mining companies.

What has been done under Republican Controlled Congress?  The Republicans put into place sequestration the cutting of budgets for Native Federal Programs, stole sacred tribal lands from the San Carlos Indian Reservation and now a nominee for associate Supreme Court Judge all Natives and Tribes need to contact your US Senator; for the nominee, will be under question by US Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Indian Country,  USA needs to telephone, write letters, flood the social media that Alaska Natives and Native Americans Oppose or Support Brett Cavanaugh.  The GOP has forgotten the working people and covering special interest groups the Democratic Party needs to work for all people and stop the adverse executive orders and breaching Trust Responsibility and Tribal Sovereignty.  Seek waiver if the Republican sequestration putting into place 100% Federal Funding for all Native Programs.

Why vote? Those that are seeking political office are seeking your vote.  More importantly, across Indian Country seeking to get into office and this is where you vote counts.  Plus, we need to vote for those that we vote for will be creating legislation, policies, laws that have a direct impact upon our lives and our very existence.

Creating better World for Indian Country, USA

From Ourselves, Creating a Better World for Indian Country, USA

The real People of North American, know what fully faces them on a daily basis.  They confront daily the real problems that exist since this country America was formed. Today those that govern us as people have stolen sacred lands of the San Carlos Apache Tribe and recently opened up national monuments for mining; some lands deem sacred to Native American People.  Current President has written adverse executive orders that have environmentally impacts America’s Indigenous People.  Congress has grossly by passed tribal sovereignty and trust responsibility yet existing Native American laws in place that suppose to give full consultation to Native Americans.  The current majority party of Congress have forgotten the people that they supposedly serve and pay more attention to special interest groups who directly funded their campaign.

This writer remembers Congress reading the US Constitution; it needs to be re-read underling “we the people.”  Further, existing written policies on tribal sovereignty and trust responsibility need to be restated to end and prevent any adverse legislation fully imposing tribal consultation.

Native life’s matter, end the killing, murdering and trafficking of our Native American Women and Men  Fully impact all of the media, social media tools and amass public hearings at State, Counties, Cities and Towns to full make known that we Natives no longer tolerant any death of our Indigenous People.  This for the well-being of existing Native families.

Start educating all peoples starting a pre-school, middle schools, high schools, community colleges and universities.  This writer noted on Twitter that Harvard University being 378 years old finally hired a Native American Professor.  Start a Native American curriculum for all levels of education to give the true tribal history, stories, songs to promote understanding and create a truly livable world  where all races can be in unity and harmony.
All this writing is to bring an end to racism, mis-understandings, to gain direct insight of all Native cultures of North American’s Indigenous People.  If Gandhi as one person leading the way for independence of India from British rule; we have existing tribal leadership pulling  us to new levels of economic development happening across Indian Country, USA.  We can do this for the good of our future Indigenous generation

Trump Enemy to Indian Country

Trump Enemy to Indian Country

By

Terrance H. Booth, Sr. – Neesh Wil Gum – Tsimshian

Trump Administration has drawn the lines as enemy to Indian Country, USA.  He favors opening up  oil exploration and by executive order continued operation to two controversial pipelines that Native People directly oppose.  No regard to honor Native American Treaties and passage of bills go without consultation from Indian Country, USA.

The Republican Congress in 2016 breached Federal Tribal Law with no hearing or consultation stealing Sacred Tribal Lands from San Carlos Apache Tribe and targeting a Tribe in Utah taking away more tribal lands.  Department of Interior has been silent on trust responsibility which is written Federal Law supposedly to protect tribal lands and tribal people.

Since the US House of Representatives read the US Constitution it needs to read “DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE POLICY ON INDIAN SOVEREIGNTY
AND GOVERNMENT-TO-GOVERNMENT RELATIONS WITH INDIAN
” - Janet Reno
Attorney General, Date: June 1, 1995 , which clearly defines Federal Trust Responsibility.  The Republican Congress has breached Tribal Sovereignty, Tribal Trust Responsibility with no federal agency that is obligated to protect all tribes did not intervene on Congressional passage of taking Sacred Tribal lands from San Carlos Apache or spoke up to stop TrumpCare from taking billions from Indian Health Care. It is evident that Trump is not making American Great for he is taking from programs that serves the neediest of American to benefit his rich friends or those that funded his campaign and giving them tax breaks.

I have written to make all tribal reservations to be Trump-Proof or Government-Proof which is a step to protect our Tribal Sovereignty and or Trust Responsibility and see that no more Tribal Lands are taken away from our Tribal People and Congress no longer steal any tribal lands.  For the safety of all our Tribal People immediate action must be taken to prevent any unjust action on part of Trump or Congress for the benefit of all our People that deserve to live in a safe tribal environment and live to see our culture, tribal songs and dances and our tribal history makes it to generation to come.

Federal Government-Proof All of Indian Country, USA

Federal Government-Proof All of Indian Country, USA
By
Terrance H. Booth, Sr.  Neesh Wil Gum (Keeper if the Gun Powder) Tsimshian

As we now see the Office of the President and the Republican Congress are for the rich and feed their rich friends to become richer and feed their greediness. In 2016 the Republican Congress stole tribal sacred lands from the San Carlos Apache Tribe of Arizona.  The Congress of 2017 is targeting a Utah Tribe to steal more tribal land.
The President showed us where he stands with no regard for trust responsibility and yet Federal Written Tribal law that obligates the Federal Government to outright protect all the Tribes of America.  Native American policies can be breached under this current presidential administration; please note, that no federal agency spoke up to oppose 2016 Congress stealing Tribal Sacred Lands from the San Carlos Apache Tribe of Arizona.  Yet the Department of Interior is supposed to be the main protector of all Indian Lands.

It is obvious that this current presidential will and is disregarding people related programs instead playing a dangerous game showing America military power and show signs of putting American into war. With such actions neglecting the people of this country this writer offers a critical recommendation and is for the protection of already existing documentations, executive orders, Congressional Legislation, and Indian Policies.

Foremost, is tribal trust responsibility to directly ensure that any tribal lands are ever taken away from any of the Tribes of Indian Country. How do we do this Gaming Tribes give much of their earned revenues to non-profits of their neighbors. It is time to divert some of our revenues to legally put into protecting: Trust Responsibility, Tribal Rights, Tribal Sovereignty.  We as tribal people already seen Republican Congress Breach Trust Responsibility and steal our tribal sacred lands and still plan to steal more lands.  Tribes need to strengthen Trust Responsibility so no Native Lands disappear from us ever again.

Specific Tribal Agenda to unite nation-wide and arrange meetings with US Senate Committee on Indian Affairs to have very stern reminders of Trust Responsibility, Tribal Rights and Tribal Sovereignty.  Present written legal documents that targets Trust Responsibility, Tribal Rights, and Tribal Sovereignty. Confront Federal Government that our Treaties are to be honored and respected and upheld.

All of our Native American Non-Profits need to get on same page and bring together all of our Native American Lawyers and as advisers our own tribal lawyers to absolutely once and for all create shield of protection to government-proof Indian Polices, Executive Orders, attempted adverse Congressional Legislation to make it fully known we stand fully for the good of our people and for the future generations of our Native People.
